Large & well built job box I have been hunting for a job box for a while and I really like that this one is heavy duty plastic and not metal. It is definitely worth 5-stars and I am not just saying that because I received it to review – I don’t do that. I think it is worth five stars because of the quality and features of the box. It is heavy, well built and very big – in fact, maybe too big for some people who may be storing a lot of small things as they will probably get lost in the bottom. It’s a little awkward for me to lift in and out of vehicles even empty (I actually threw my back out trying, so I wouldn’t try it again). It really requires two people, especially if it is loaded with much of anything. The hydraulic struts are great for opening and keeping the lid open. The weatherproof seal works as intended. The handles are well designed. I would say that it could just use some wheels on one end to assist in moving without additional helpĀ

Very Tough but Light for a Job Box This box has been really durable thus far–really like the way the hinges were done and the seal around the lid. Impressed by the amount of reinforcement straps around the hinges, handles, and other points of wear. The struts for the lid are really solidly mounted as well, and easily support the lid and smoothly lift it upwards. The latches in particular seem very substantial, and lock positively when set. The handles are tubular steel and although you’ll need two people to move it when loaded its easy to move around when empty, but its still much less weight than a metal truck or work site box weights. It would also be great for camping, considering that its weather sealed at the top and easily doubles as a bench. Seems resistant to scratches and marring, even when loaded with tools and hosed off easily when it got muddy in the yard.

excellent! This is a nice deep wide heavy duty box that is surprisingly lighter in weight than it appears to be. Made of what seems to be very heavy duty plastic with nickel plated latches that you can lock close using pad locks. The handles are metal tubing and they’re easy to grab hold of to move the box. I originally thought we would use this in the garage but because it’s so big we decided to use it on the deck to store the furniture covers and other deck accessories. The description says that the the heavy duty plastic construction will not bend, rust, scratch, or dent but nothing about how it holds up to the rain or whether or not the hot sun will cause the plastic to warm so only time will tell how well it will do on the deck outside in the hot sun.
