Can’t find a better case for this price. I was looking for a budget case that would get the job done and I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. The case material could be a bit thicker, but obviously that would add to the weight and the cost. As it is, the case looks good, is lite, but sturdy enough to protect the bow. The Velcro straps are a nice addition and hold the bow very securely. The foam is only an inch thick, but again, I think this is adequate protection. My only complaint is the handle doesn’t match up perfectly when the case is closed and is a bit uncomfortable. However, with the price and the other features, I don’t consider this enough of an issue to knock down the rating I am giving. The four latches are very solid, close tightly and the case is more compact than others I have used…which is a plus in my book. This require some assembly, but it was easy, did not need any additional tools and was done in approx. 10 minutes. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. The Plano Protector Compact Bow…
Great case for the price I was a little upset at first that there was no camouflage coloring, but checked my order again and realized that in the description, it says “(black)”. Its a little deceiving when the picture clearly shows camouflage, but oh well. The case seems pretty durable, and it wasn’t that hard to set up. The whole, “some assembly required” part was a bit of a downer too. In the end, a screwdriver and a little elbow grease were all that’s needed, and my wifes happy with a new case to protect her new bow. It easily fits her Diamond Edge Compound bow.
Hoyt Charger LONG DRAW! This looks like a fine case but. If you have the Hoyt charger LONG DRAW with polymer limb pockets I would not recommend this case . My bow barely fits in it the cams are touching. The bow is at least 3/4″ longer than the regular model. I currently have it set at 50# and it looks like if I tighten the limbs down it will give me a tiny bit more space. I think this bow definitely needs a more rectangular shaped case. I actually ended up cutting my case so my limb pockets stick out. I cant find a good case my bow fits in. The case is made with a soft almost rubber like plastic and is easy to cut and modify. I used a spare boot lace to make a holder for 6 more arrows with the extra slits in the lid. So I took one star off because it should be slightly more rectangular for more space with these parallel limb bows.
