Its bright and crisp vs the sort of muted tin of the others I played.. If you have smaller hands this is the ticket.. I gave it to my daughter in law to learn guitar on and she won’t give it back..hahahha

This guitar definitely packs a punch has a very full sound for a travel guitar, almost comparably to the full size counterpart. The weight does take some time to get used to as full sized guitars are bottom heavy while the little martin is handle heavy. The size and weight is very comfortable to hold with a strap on. The onboard electronics are also very nicely made and simple to use. The sound is quite unique with good bass but “chirper”/brighter sound than a full sized guitar. Great addition for any guitar player to have on his/her arsenal.

A great, portable guitar. A great little guitar. I’ve only had a few guitars in my lifetime, but this is by far my favorite. I’ve played it like crazy ever since buying it a few months ago, and couldn’t be happier! One little thing, though, I noticed that sometimes on the lower notes (heavier vibrations), the little door that holds the battery for the pickup in makes a buzzing sound. It doesn’t bother me all too much, and if I’m not using the pickup, I can usually just take the battery out and have no problem.
