I can not recommend it enough I just recent went on a hike in the San Bernidino mountains here in California and this pack proved to work exceptionally well, I can not recommend it enough. Love the compression straps and was able to hold two snow shoes on the sides with ease. The draw string napsack kind of entry on top is great in cold weather as well as the zipper cutaway to get to stuff in the middle without goin through the top. My only minor complaint was the pouches on the side seem the be a little close to the sides of the hips. Having to open them with gloves on all straped up is a task; wish they could of been closer to your navel. But other then that small gripe its a great pack. Especially if you can get alhold of the orange pack for a great deal cheaper! Easy to see if you happen to drop it, think about it.

Very happy with this product Very happy with this product. The Zulu pack does a very nice job at distributing the weight that’s carried within the pack. The quality construction of this pack is apparent. I especially like that this pack has a larger belt, lots of packs don’t have this and you can tell a difference when the weight gets in the pack. Another thing that I appreciate about this product is the extra straps-( the ones that are attached to the pocket on the outside). This has been a huge advantage when I’ve needed to pack snowshoes in with me. So far, I have had a positve experience using this piece of equipment.
