2017 Les Paul Tribute T Gold Top – I couldn’t be happier After deliberating for at least 6 months over which Les Paul to buy and reading countless reviews about various models, years, etc., I finally bought the 2017 Les Paul Tribute T Gold Top. It arrived within a few days and was in perfect condition. The set up was truly amazing and it played nicer and felt better than anything I’ve ever played. Tone is deep and throaty and is 100% Les Paul. I couldn’t be happier with the guitar, the price, the delivery, packaging, or any other aspect of the guitar. I do plan on buying a hardshell case for it given that I’m not a huge fan of padded gig bags, such as the one that comes with this guitar. $899 for an American made, genuine Gibson Les Paul shipped to my door in two days…I have no complaints at all. I love the satin finish, especially on the neck, and theGibson USA Les Paul Tribute T 2017 Electric Guitar, Satin Gold gold top finish is beautiful.
Excellent American Made Guitar at a Good Price! This is, I think, my 85th guitar since I started playing in 1964, so I’m not new to the game. It is my 7th Gibson electric and the first one I liked right out of the box. Gibson has taken some well-deserved heat lately for their quality control. If this guitar is any indication, there have been some big improvements. I went over it with a fine tooth comb and the fit and finish is excellent. The only flaw I could find is a small section of the top edge of the fingerboard between the 1st and 3rd fret was not neatly stained. That’s it. The set up is good with the factory strings with comfortably low action, no buzz and spot on intonation. All the controls work perfectly and the hardware looks and feels great. At 7lbs 1oz the weight is the same as my semi-hollow Rickenbacker 12-string. It’s well balanced and the finish it gorgeous.
My first and forever Les Paul Wow! When it came in I was like a kid at Christmas. After opening this beauty, everything thing says this is what you pay for quality, even the case it comes in is made well (Case made in Canada). I saved a whole year for this and I have no regrets.
