Well worth it, good fit Great hunting boot, it is hard to find a boot in my size that fits well. I wear a women’s size 5.5 and these actually fit very well. They were comfortable all day while elk hunting and I put a of miles behind me in some not so nice terrain. Normally my feet, knees and hips would have prevented me from completing the hunt, well with these boots I finished the hunt and had a great time doing so. Thanks Danner
Mild break in process It fit great and there really wasn’t any difficult break in period. Some mild soreness along my big toes and sides of my heel. But I was packing through the back country with a substantial amount of weight for 19miles. Ascended 4000 vertical feet in a mile and also descended and my toes were a bit sensitive. Waterproofing worked and I was in the snow nearly the entire time. My feet stayed warm persay for someone who always has cold toes. Did get knicked easily however.
Good boot for men with small feet. It’s a GREAT boot. As a man with small feet (6-1/2), this woman’s boot is just what I needed. The 8-1/2 is too large, so I will return them. The width is a women’s regular, which is narrow for men, which also works in my favor.I’ve decided to stick with my old boots one more season, since I need a new scope for my rifle. But if I get a bonus at work or find some $ somewhere, I’ll reorder this boot, one size smaller.
