Detailed comparison between Bushnell and Vanguard 10×42 binocular I own both the Vanguard Endeavor ED 10×42 and the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10×42, and am able to provide a direct comparison between these two very similar binoculars.

Were good binocs, but Bushnell won’t back up their “warranty! ” 🙁 I USED to love these binoculars until I sent them in for repair. They were not focusing in together; one side was in focus when the other was not. So, I sent them in with the “warranty”…what a crock. I got a notice in the mail saying that I could buy another pair for $190 (almost what they cost initially in 2013, as impact damage voided the warranty. I never dropped them. They may have gotten jostled up against me while wearing them. or while riding on the seat in the vehicle, but they were never dropped. So, silly me thinking that they would be covered. I just got off the phone with Bushnell and told them I was getting on Amazon right away to let people know that their warranty can pretty much never be used…it’s your word against their tech’s, and he/she says it was user mistake. Buyer beware if you ever plan on trying to make good on a warranty.

Great binoculars if you can get them a little cheaper. I picked these up for 155 on a prime special. The lenses are great and crisp, but like others have mentioned, the adjustments to the diopter could use a little tweaking. Holding the binoculars I found at least one bubble where the rubber was not glued down to the metal frame, so it would smush when poked.Overall they were a great pickup at the above price. But I would be disappointed if I had paid the current price of 320.
