The sleeping bag section is rather small since the pack is a scaled down version of the adult backpack but fits his summer bag nicely. I have the larger adult version and really … My 11 year old son uses this just about every monthly campout and really likes it. The sleeping bag section is rather small since the pack is a scaled down version of the adult backpack but fits his summer bag nicely. I have the larger adult version and really enjoy it as well and this is made with the same quality, features and attention to details. He does have to put his winter bag which is larger in the main compartment and put clothes/gear in the lower compartment but is able to accommodate everything he needs on weekend or longer trip.
Seems like itâs going to work perfect for my 13 y/o Havenât used it yet since it is a Christmas present but I did fit it to me and put it on. Seems like itâs going to work perfect for my 13 y/o. Plenary of room for everything he will need for any camping/hiking adventure. Well made. I honestly thought of getting one for myself. Iâm 5â4â with a 16â torso and it fit perfect with more room to go either up or down on the torso adjustments. Quality pack for any young adventurer or smallish adult. Just fantastic.
Great pack for a youth Great pack for a youth, this one is being used by my 10 year old daughter and fits the small amount of gear she carries, sleeping bag, fire kit, knife, water, clothing. She feels very comfortable so far with the adjustability and overall fit.
