Great knife I love this knife. It feels really good in the hand and cuts through things like they’re butter. I get a lot of compliments on it when someone notices it. I use it as my daily carry and so far it’s been great.
I love this knife better than the mini-Griptillian that I lost … I love this knife better than the mini-Griptillian that I lost and had to replace after using the other one for 5 years. Why did I wait so long to move to another model, when the mini-griptillian handle was slightly too narrow? This grip is a little wider and easier to handle (no pun intended), and the G10 grip looks like zebrawood. It’s solidly built and has no wiggle between the blade and the grip. I can easily flick it open by pulling the axis-lock and snapping my wrist out. I like the lack of spring assist, because my mini-Barrage likes to snap shut under it’s own power when it’s 90% closed, and the last time it did that it sliced the palm of my hand (2 months ago and why I bought this). Very sharp, could almost shave with it.
Can’t say enough good things! You definitely get what you pay for with Benchmade! I’m 34 now and have been carrying a knife since i started grade school. This is the nicest pocket knife I’ve ever owned, or used for that matter I must say. I was concerned I’d lose it, because the clip on every knife I’ve ever had eventually bends and not hold tight on the pocket, in which case I all too often lose the knife. But the clip on this is super tight and sturdy, but not too tight so that it’s difficult to get it clipped. The handle is beautiful wood and the steel is excellent quality. The operation and lock is incredibly smooth. Perfectly balanced and fits the hand well. I always test my edge by shaving a patch off of my arm, and let me tell ya smooth as a baby’s @$$ straight outta the box. Superb knife all around, can’t say enough good things. I plan on ordering a second one soon for my dad as a gift.
